Get some Free FatBlueMan Music

Tue, Oct 21, 2008

Comments

I was talking to Gimmeabreakman from Youtube today for completely different reasons other than this post, which has all to do with music. Well, it kind of has something to do with something, because Gimmeabreakman told me about this guy, and it turns out he was giving away free music just for subscribing to him. I didn’t know about this, so I was surprised to get a message saying “hey, want a free CD of our music?” on my Tofugu YouTube page. I’m not one to pass up free things, so I went for it. (more…)

Macbook Pro Sexy Love You Long Time Haiku

Comments

Going into town today (Portland) to look at the new Macbook Pros…uh, and I suppose do some other things too, but this is the most important. I’m going to fondle, touch, hug, kiss, molest, and love every floor model I come across, and maybe see if the Apple people will let me open it up and see inside. Definitely not buying one (yet!), but I am pining.

I even made a Haiku for you, macbook pro… (more…)

The Best Out-of-Context McCain Picture Ever

Fri, Oct 17, 2008

Comments

Now, I’m not trying to get political or anything here. If Obama was making a grab at McCain’s ass, I would post it up too. Out of context pictures are the greatest, though, aren’t they? And boy, this deserves a good caption…but I can’t think of anything to do it enough justice. (more…)

Wordcamp PDX is over…time to go home.

Comments

Wordcamp PDX was a smash hit. I made some new friends, learned a few new blogging-related things, and saw a lot of people with iPhones. Although I dont’ have much else to say, I did want to show a couple of images.

The most retarded mascot I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot of terrible mascots:

At WordCamp Portland, 2008

Yes, I am a tech / blogging geek. That is why I’m spending the day in a sketchy part of Portland, listening to people talk about Wordpress (an awesome blogging platform). If you’re looking to start a blog, it is what you should probably use (open source, plugins, community support, so good).

There was this lady who did the keynote address…I don’t know who she is, but apparently she’s pretty famous. All I know is that she called herself the fairy blog-mother (and normally doesn’t dress like this for these sorts of things). She’s a pretty cool frood, though I’m not sure she knows where her towel’s at. (more…)

My Old Yearbook Pictures

Mon, Aug 18, 2008

Comments

Well, no, not really. Though they do strike a resemblance for some reason…Oh! That’s because I used yearbookyourself.com!

Click on the image for higher res sexiness

This is the greatest website in the world (though, sometimes it’s a bit glitchy). It allows you to upload a picture of yourself and tell it where your face is. Then, when you’re ready, you tell it to generate your pictures. From there, you can choose the year and it will give you a picture. Not all of them work perfectly, and some of them look darn-right ugly, but a lot of them turn out fairly good. The ones above are my favorites. In 1996, that’s what I actually looked like. Sad, yeah? Kind of makes me want to grow an afro. (more…)

Home Made Air Conditioning

Fri, Aug 15, 2008

Comments

It’s been pretty warm here, last couple of days. Today it’s supposed to hit 105 degrees Fahrenheit (that should be around 39 degrees Celsius?), and I don’t have an air conditioning (plus the sun blazes directly into my window). I have a fan, but all it does is blow in hot air. That’s when I thought of this:

That’s ice in those baggies, by the way.

Now, granted, it doesn’t actually work all that well. The air goes from hot air to not quite as hot air, though that’s still more bearable. (more…)

Watermelon Poisoning

Wed, Aug 13, 2008

Comments

Today I ate wayyyy too much watermelon. Watermelon, of course, has a ton of water in it. On top of that, I drank a few glasses of water earlier in the day. After eating half of the watermelon I was headachy and a bit weird feeling. This has happened to me before - I had some water poisoning! Here’s what went down: (more…)

Kentucky Loves Free Porn, and other Google Insights

I’ve been playing around with “Google Insights,” a sweet Google page that lets you see what people are searching for all around the World. Now, you can find out what people are searching for by geo-location. How awesome is that? I’m sure you can already see the potential for fun.

Take a jump and read on to see what I’ve found: (more…)

Voodoo Donuts Line is Lonnnggg

Mon, Aug 4, 2008

Comments

I was in downtown Portland on Sunday for the Flugtag, but didn’t make it in time. We saw the last flight, but it was nice to walk around anyways. We made our way to Voodoo donut, and I was all ready to take the Tex-Ass Challenge since I hadn’t eaten all day (it’s where you have to eat this huge donut in a certain amount of time to get it free), but the line was way too long, so we went out to sushi instead.

That line goes back farther than you can see. Couldn’t even get ahold of my Bacon-Maple donut (if you get the chance, you should make one. Just a maple donut with bacon on it-Seriously, the best donut you’ll ever have). Here’s what it looks like: (more…)
